Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Mintara website or participating in any of our programmes. By accessing our website or registering for a programme, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

1. About Mintara

Mintara is a financial literacy education provider based in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. We offer general educational workshops, toolkits, community circles, and multi-week learning programmes designed to help women build everyday money confidence.

2. Nature of Our Services

All content, workshops, toolkits, and programmes offered by Mintara are for general educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on our website or within our programmes constitutes:

Participants are encouraged to consult appropriately qualified and licensed professionals for advice tailored to their personal circumstances.

3. Eligibility

Our programmes are open to women aged 18 and above residing in Malaysia. By registering, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement.

Mintara reserves the right to decline or cancel a registration where eligibility requirements are not met or where, in our reasonable judgement, participation would not be appropriate.

4. Registrations and Payments

4.1 Registration

Programme registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (or a confirmed payment arrangement, where applicable). A registration confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide.

4.2 Pricing

All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of SST where applicable. Mintara reserves the right to revise pricing with reasonable notice.

4.3 Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us at [email protected] as early as possible.

5. Programme Delivery

Mintara delivers its programmes in-person at our Kuantan premises, unless otherwise stated. Programme dates, times, and formats are communicated upon registration confirmation.

Mintara reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to programme content, structure, or scheduling where necessary. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants with reasonable notice.

Certificates of attendance (where applicable) are issued upon satisfactory completion of the relevant programme. Certificates reflect attendance and participation in a general educational programme; they do not represent a professional qualification or licence.

6. Participant Conduct

All participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and fellow participants. Mintara is committed to maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all women who join our programmes.

Mintara reserves the right to remove from a programme any participant whose conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or inconsistent with our community values. In such cases, a refund may not be provided.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials provided as part of Mintara's programmes — including worksheets, planners, workbooks, presentation slides, and written content — remain the intellectual property of Mintara unless otherwise stated.

Participants are permitted to use these materials for their own personal learning and non-commercial purposes. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of Mintara materials without prior written consent is not permitted.

Recording of sessions (audio, video, or otherwise) is not permitted without Mintara's prior written authorisation.

8. Website Use

You may use our website for lawful personal purposes. You must not use our website to transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful material, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

Mintara does not warrant that the website will be continuously available, error-free, or free from technical issues. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the website without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Mintara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from participation in our programmes or use of our website, including any financial decisions made by participants based on general educational content.

Mintara's total liability in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant programme.

10. Third-Party Links and Resources

Our website and programme materials may reference or link to third-party websites or resources for general informational purposes. Mintara does not endorse these external sources and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. Changes to These Terms

Mintara may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website or participation in our programmes after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
