Three Pathways to Money Confidence
Whether you are looking for a single session or a longer learning journey, Mintara has a programme shaped around where you are right now.
Back to HomeOur Teaching Approach
Mintara does not deliver financial information as lectures. We use a facilitated learning model that treats each participant as someone who already has instincts and experiences with money — our role is to build on those, not start from scratch.
Each session follows a three-part rhythm: first, we introduce a concept clearly and concisely. Then, we work through a practical exercise together in the group — usually a worksheet activity or a discussion prompt. Finally, participants have time to apply the concept to their own situation, with support from the facilitator and the rest of the group.
This rhythm repeats across every module and is why Mintara's materials work as well at home after a session as they do in the room.
Concept First
Each topic is introduced clearly, in plain English, with a real-life example from Malaysia.
Group Practice
Participants work through activities together — asking questions, comparing approaches, building from each other.
Personal Application
Each session closes with individual application time, so participants leave with something concrete connected to their own life.
Take-Home Reinforcement
Printed worksheets and planners extend learning beyond sessions, making progress visible between meetings.

Shared Standards
Regardless of which programme you join, these principles apply consistently to every Mintara experience.
Privacy Within the Circle
What is shared in Mintara sessions stays within the group. We operate a clear community code that every participant agrees to before joining.
General Education Only
All Mintara programmes deliver general financial education. We do not provide personalised financial advice or regulated investment guidance.
Respectful, Inclusive Atmosphere
Sessions are held in a judgment-free setting. Participants are not required to share personal financial figures, and no question is treated as too basic.
Flexible Scheduling
We schedule sessions with working women and homemakers in mind — primarily weekday mornings or Saturday sessions. Online options are available on request.
Practical Printed Resources
Every programme includes take-home printed materials designed to be useful in real daily life — not just reference documents that sit in a drawer.
Responsive Programme Support
Questions between sessions are welcomed. Participants can reach the Mintara team via phone or email and will always receive a warm, prompt response.
